Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Season:
Practices:
ARSC is committed to making soccer work for families in West Ashley. Teams will practice at locations most convenient for players.
Practices will be held in West Ashley 2x a week from late Jan/early Feb through the end of April.
Age Breakdown:
We currently have programming for boys & girls born in the years 2014-2019. Team size, field size, game length, and goal dimensions all vary by age. For more information about club soccer age breakdowns please reference this blog post (Club Soccer: Age Groups, Formats, and What to Expect).
2025-2026 Season
Fall 2025 was a developmental season for ARSC and did not include official league play. Each team participated in structured scrimmages against other teams from the Charleston area, a single-day tournament in Lexington, SC.
We are on track to be a full member club in SCYS for the spring season and expect to participate in state leagues, including the Coastal Premier League (CPL). Each team will also participate in 1-2 tournaments.
Coaching Staff:
Teams are coached by USSF licensed coaches. Coaches provide tactical and technical training at practice as well as during games. Coaches foster a positive environment, promote character and sportsmanship, and guide team development.
Uniforms:
All players will be responsible for their own uniform which will be purchased directly from Lloyd’s Soccer in Mount Pleasant. Uniforms for 2025-2026 will also be used for the following season (Fall 2025/Spring 2027). Uniforms will include a home and away jersey, shorts, and socks.
Games & Travel
Games will be played against other club teams, mostly from the Charleston area. Some games may require some travel (usually to Myrtle Beach and/or Bluffton).
Additionally, teams will participate in 1-2 tournaments each season (local and regional, generally only one out-of-town no further than 2-3 hours away).
Cost
Fees for the 2025-2026 seasons will be reduced given that this is a developmental year for ARSC. Club fees cover field rentals and maintenance, SCYSA registration fees, league fees, insurance, coach salary, equipment, and referee costs. Club fees do not include a uniform.
