Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Season:
Practices:
ARSC is committed to making soccer work for families in West Ashley. Teams will practice at locations most convenient for players (please indicate preferred practice location on player interest form below). Practices will be held 2x a week from 9/2/2025 until 11/21/2025.
Age Breakdown:
We currently have programming for boys & girls born in the years 2014-2019. Team size, field size, game length, and goal dimensions all vary by age. For more information about club soccer age breakdowns please reference this blog post (Club Soccer: Age Groups, Formats, and What to Expect).
Scrimmages/Games:
Fall 2025 will constitute a developmental season for ARSC and will not include official league play. Each team will participate in 6-8 structured scrimmages against other teams from the Charleston area as well as neighboring coastal towns. These may include local or out-of-town tournaments when appropriate.
Coaching Staff:
Teams are coached by USSF licensed coaches. Coaches provide tactical and technical training at practice as well as during games. Coaches foster a positive environment, promote character and sportsmanship, and guide team development.
Uniforms:
All players will be responsible for their own uniform which will be purchased directly from Lloyd’s Soccer in Mount Pleasant. Uniforms for 2025-2026 will also be used for the following season (Fall 2025/Spring 2027). Uniforms will include a home and away jersey, shorts, and socks.
2026-2027 Season:
Evaluations for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 will be held in early May. ARSC teams will participate in SC Youth Soccer leagues, which include mostly other Charleston area and coastal teams,. This may include a limited amount of travel (usually Myrtle Beach and/or Bluffton). Additionally, teams will participate in 1-2 tournaments each season (local and regional, generally only one out-of-town no further than 2-3 hours away).
Cost
Fees for the 2025-2026 seasons will be reduced given that this is a developmental year for ARSC. Club fees cover field rentals and maintenance, SCYSA registration fees, league fees, insurance, coach salary, equipment, and referee costs. Club fees do not include a uniform.
