2025-2026 Season

Ashley River Soccer Club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for young athletes in our community.
Players who are interested in learning more about our teams and roster openings should complete the player interest form below.
We are still accepting players for the Fall 2025 season!!
Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Season:
Practices:
ARSC is committed to making soccer work for families in West Ashley. Teams will practice at locations most convenient for players (please indicate preferred practice location on player interest form below). Practices will be held 2x a week from 9/2/2025 until 11/21/2025.
Age Breakdown:
We currently have programming for boys & girls born in the years 2014-2019. Team size, field size, game length, and goal dimensions all vary by age. For more information about club soccer age breakdowns please reference this blog post (Club Soccer: Age Groups, Formats, and What to Expect).
Scrimmages/Games:
Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 constitute a developmental year for ARSC and will not include official league play. Each team will participate in 6-8 structured scrimmages against club teams from the Charleston area as well as neighboring coastal towns. As teams develop, coaches may opt to participate in 1-2 local or out-of-town tournaments.
Coaching Staff:
Teams are coached by USSF licensed coaches. Coaches provide tactical and technical training at practice as well as during games. Coaches foster a positive environment, promote character and sportsmanship, and guide team development.
Uniforms:
All players will be responsible for their own uniform which will be purchased directly from Lloyd’s Soccer in Mount Pleasant. Uniforms for 2025-2026 will be a simplified kit, with full uniforms starting club-wide for the 2026-2027 season. Uniforms will include a home and away kit on a 2-year rotation (Fall 2026 uniforms will be used for 2026-2027 and 2027-2028)
2026-2027 Season:
ARSC teams will join South Carolina Youth Soccer leagues beginning in the Fall of 2026. These leagues include mostly other Charleston area and coastal teams, which means limited travel. Additionally, teams will participate in 1-2 tournaments each season (both local and regional, generally in SC).
Cost
Fees for the 2025-2026 seasons will be reduced given that this is a developmental year for ARSC. Payment will be due at the beginning of the fall and spring seasons and will cover field rentals, SCYSA registration fees (which includes insurance), and referee costs.
